Cannabis Cookies

If you’re looking for a nice snack or maybe you have some friends coming over and you want to have a good time, then maybe instead of getting some snacks at the supermarket, you can try and make this amazing recipe! Today we’re going to show you how to make cannabis cookies!

Many people around the world enjoy cannabis edibles, and cookies are one of the main things that people resort to when cooking with cannabis. Hopefully, this recipe will help you impress your friends, but remember to consume cannabis responsibly!

Ingested weed can take much longer to have any sort of effect as it has to be digested first before it can reach our blood stream, so wait a while before deciding that having a second cookie would be a good idea, you never know when it might kick in and you could end up feeling pretty bad.

Cannabis Cookies Ingredients:

  • 170gr butter
  • 400g of baking flour
  • 1 sachet of Royal baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 70-90g of chocolate chips
  • 160gr of sugar
  • 1 spoonful of powdered vanilla
  • 20gr of cannabis leaves

Steps:

If you want the best possible effect, we recommend decarbing your cannabis! (Putting it in the oven for about 45 minutes at 100°C). This is done to activate the THC, turning it from THCa into full-on THC. Keep in mind that recipes that involve heat when adding the cannabis actually have the decarbing process somewhat included.

Firstly, you will need to grind up the cannabis until it’s practically powder. Then, heat up the butter until it’s melted and toss the weed in and mix well; leave it to boil on the lowest heat setting for about a half an hour so that the cannabinoids can be properly absorbed.

Once the mix is ready, you’ll need to put it through a sieve, pressing down strong to make sure you get the last drop and leave it to cool down for a little bit.

Once the butter is lukewarm, add the eggs and the sugar and mix well. Next, mix the flour, baking powder and vanilla together. Once both mixes are done and properly stirred, mix them together, making sure that you end up with a nice smooth cookie mixture. Lastly, add in the chocolate chips and your cookie dough is ready!

Preheat the oven to about 150ºC and prepare a tray with cooking paper. You can have fun with this next bit, making shapes out of the cookie dough in whatever form you want, although be sure to make them all more or less the same size or density as some might overcook. Place your cookies on the tray and stick it in the oven. They should take about 45 minutes, although this could be longer or shorter depending on the size of your cookies so don’t forget to check on them every now and then.

Once they’re done, take them out of the oven and let them sit for a little bit, as they’ll need to cool down before you can eat them without burning your tongue. Remember; don’t overdo it with these cookies, especially if you’re not used to consuming cannabis, as you could end up dizzy or feeling nauseous or falling asleep.

Just keep yourself under control when eating them, even if they’re absolutely delicious! Keep in mind that when you ingest cannabis it takes longer to have any sort of effect, so start off little by little and see how you feel.

The most important thing is to enjoy the snack and have an amazing day!
