Bubblegum Medical Marijuana Strain Review

Bubblegum genetics are unknown for the most part. All that is known is that it was developed in 1993 using a North American Hybrid (Indiana Bubblegum) and a Unknown Indica strain of cannabis. For anyone who has medicated with the Bubblegum strain in the past, you know that it is simply fantastic in nearly all regards. The Bubblegum strain took many generations to develop a stable version that truly resembles the flavor profile of bubblegum.

“The Bubblegum strain took many generations to develop a stable version that truly resembles the flavor of bubblegum.”

All you really need to know about the Bubblegum strain is that it is a uplifting, full-bodied Hybrid that creates smooth smoke resembling the taste of sweet, fresh bubblegum. The aroma of this specific batch reminded me of a bag of Big League Chew Gum, (if you remember that brand of bubblegum).

The effects one can expect from Bubblegum are very 50/50, split equally between head and body. It’s almost a perfect hybrid split, starting with a buzzing head high that is typically followed by an even heavier body buzz.

I have only seen Bubblegum available for donation by a few dispensaries this year, and even then it was for a very limited time. This leads me to believe the Bubblegum strain is “rare,” at least in California.
